What is Messy church?

Messy church is a lot of fun!  It is a form of church for children and adults alike that involves creativity, celebration and hospitality.

Creativity – we enjoy spending about an hour exploring a biblical theme through various crafts and activities.

Celebration – we then have a short celebration time that usually involves a story, prayer and sometimes a song.

Hospitality – a sit-down meal is then enjoyed by all!

When do we meet?

We meet the first Saturday of every month from September to December and February to June. Messy Church usually starts at 11:30am and finishes at 1:30pm but for up-to-date details please check our upcoming events calendar on the home page or visit our Facebook page.

We meet in the main hall/sanctuary of Bath Elim Church (Charlotte Street, Bath, BA1 2ND) for crafts, activities, story and then go downstairs for lunch.

Who is welcome?

All are welcome to join us!  As it says on the official Messy Church website (www.messychurch.org.uk), we welcome everyone, involve everyone and value everyone.

We ask for a £1 donation per child and adults are free of charge.
