What is Messy church?

Messy church is a lot of fun!  It is a form of church for children and adults alike that involves creativity, celebration and hospitality.

Creativity – we enjoy spending about an hour exploring a biblical theme through various crafts and activities.

Celebration – we then have a short celebration time that usually involves a story, prayer and sometimes a song.

Hospitality – a sit-down meal is then enjoyed by all!

When do we meet?

We usually meet once a month during term-time. Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic we are unable to meet in person. As soon as it is safe to meet together we will put the dates on here and our Elim Bath Facebook page.

Where?

We meet in the main hall/sanctuary of Bath Elim Church (Charlotte Street, Bath, BA1 2ND) for crafts, activities, story and then go downstairs for lunch.

Who is welcome?

All are welcome to join us!  As it says on the official Messy Church website (www.messychurch.org.uk), we welcome everyone, involve everyone and value everyone.

Cost?

While donations are most welcome, there is no charge for attending Messy Church.
