why do we give?
We believe generous giving and the Christian life go together in response to a generous God who has so generously blessed us.
1 Corinthians 16:1-2
'Now about the collection for the Lord’s people: do what I told the Galatian churches to do. 2 On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.'

2 Corinthians 8:7
'But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you—see that you also excel in this grace of giving.'

UK TAXPAYERS & GIFT AID
We are able to reclaim the tax back from your donation if you are a UK taxpayer. This can increase your giving by 25% without any extra cost to you.

Whether giving as a one-off or a regular amount, a simple Gift Aid Declaration form will need to be completed. These are available on the welcome table in the foyer of church or alternatively email our finance officer who can send one out to you: dawn@elimbath.org
